As some here may know, I have a disproportionately large, intellectual crush on Boris Johnson, the Conservative Mayor of London and part of my infatuation has to do with the outstanding quality of his writing. The piece I am posting below is about why he believes Barack Obama should be next President of the United States.

Boris stands behind the buzz words of 'Hope' and 'Change' for all the right reasons; he's a dreamer and an idealist and the world would be a boring place without such people. Of course, all this was said about Blair in those desperate pre-millenium days when we all believed that New Labour would save us. Therefore my only hope is that if Barack Obama does becomes President he will achieve more as messiah than Tony ever did for the UK.



There are all sorts of reasons for hoping that Barack Hussein Obama will be the next president of the United States. He seems highly intelligent. He has an air of courtesy and sincerity. Unlike the current occupant of the White House, he has no difficulty in orally extemporising a series of grammatical English sentences, each containing a main verb.

Unlike his opponent, he visibly incarnates change and hope, at a time when America desperately needs both.

I have this RPS smut fic with an odd pairing (Adam Baldwin/ Jensen Ackles 4000 words) and I was wondering if someone could look through it for me. I'm mostly concerned about 'Jensening' it and generally Americanising it.

Overall I think I liked it. It was speedier, more old skool Chuck maybe... although I've had one fuck of a day so I'm not sure how well I was judging it.
